An accident east of South Fork in Howell County left an Illinois man with serious injuries. MSHP says 59 yr old Ronald F Brinton of Stonington, IL was traveling west on US 160 about 1:15 this morning when his GMC truck ran off the right side of the road and hit a tree. Brinton was not wearing a seatbelt and received serious injuries. He was taken by air ambulance to Cox Hospital in Springfield.
A 3 vehicle accident yesterday morning just before 10 am left a Houston MO man with moderate injuries. 21 yr old Colby T Walker driving a Ford Transit Van south on US 63 about 6 miles north of Cabool when he rear-end a Dodge Ram driven by 63 yr old Curtis D Campbell of Mtn Grove, MO. That caused the Campbell truck to run off the road and turnover. The Walker vehicle then hit a northbound semi driven by 54 yr old Michael W Holt of Marshfield, MO. causing the semi to also run off the highway and hit a tree. The trucker did not report being injured. Curtis Campbell also did not report injuries. However Colby Walker was transported to TX CO Memorial Hospital in Houston with moderate injuries. All involved were reported to have been wearing seatbelts.
