6 Felony counts of endangering the welfare of a child has been filed in Howell County against a couple there accused of involving two children in their illegal drug sales. The children 9 & 12 yrs old were being used to help package & distribute the narcotics. Two other children ages 4 & 13 also lived in the home under what investigators and family services described as filthy conditions with little food available and the threat of dangerous drugs in their presence. 37 yr old Carrie Elizabeth Carver and 39 yr old Charles Wayne Klein of were each arrested and charged. All 4 children have been placed with the MO Division of Family Services. Carver and Klein are being held in the Howell County jail on bond of $10,000 each.
