43 yr old Ty Ray Carter of Caulfield was injured in a one vehicle accident Saturday afternoon east of Tecumseh. Carter was traveling east on Hwy 160 when his Mitsubishi Montero Sport left the right side of the hwy-Carter overcorrected and went off the left side causing the vehicle to turnover and ejects him. Ty Ray Carter was taken by Air Evac to Cox South Hospital in Springfield with serious injuries.
A Winona teen was involved in a one vehicle accident Sunday morning north of her hometown. 17 yr old Alexa E Stayton was northbound on MO RT 19 when the Cadillac Escalade she was driving ran off the road hitting a large boulder and then overturning. Stayton was taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital in Springfield with minor injuries. She was reported by MSHP as not wearing a seatbelt.
