Today is the first of possibly 3 visits to the MSU-WP and Mtn Grove campuses by those looking to become the new chancellor of the university beginning this fall. Dr. Krystal Thrailkill is the first to hold a campus-wide meeting with faculty, staff and student government officers as well as the student body, beginning at 11 am this morning. Dr. Thrailkill will be on the WP campus in Melton Hall, Rm 112 from 11 to 12:30 and then will move to Kellett Hall to attend a community university reception. Following that Dr. Thrailkill will travel to the MSU-Mtn. Grove campus for another community reception from 5:30 to 7 this evening in Shannon Hall. Another candidate will visit the campuses next Tuesday. The schedule will be the same for their visit. The search for a new chancellor is to replace Dr. Drew Bennett who will retire at the end of the spring semester.
