Arrest Made in Field House Thief

The West Plains Police have made an arrest in the burglary case of West Plains Zizzers Baseball Field House reported on March 12th where more than $2600 worth of equipment and apparel was stolen.  25 yr old Logan Clarke of West Plains was taken into custody following a traffic stop Tuesday.  The Howell County Sheriff’s office assisted the West Plains Police Department in the arrest.  Numerous stolen items had been recovered prior to Clarke being stopped by authorities and more property was recovered at that time. Court records showed that Clarke was out on bond for previous felony charges of burglary 2nd Degree and Drug Possession in 2018. New warrants were issued for Clarke on Tuesday charging min with Burglary 2nd Degree and Felony Stealing, his bond was set at $7,500.  As of today, detectives have only recovered a portion of the team’s property as it had been dispersed between numerous individuals.  The investigation is ongoing and charges of Receiving Stolen Property are being sought against several other suspects.
