The St. Louis Cardinals win game one of the I-70 series with a 6-0 shut-out of the Kansas City Royals at Busch last night. Miles Mikolas (6-0) threw his first career complete game and rookie Tyler O’Niell continued his hot hitting, with a home run and 4 RBI’s for the Cardinals. O’Niell has homered in 3 straight. For the Royals, they have now lost 10 of their last 12 games.
Game 2 of the series at Busch is tonight, Jason Hammel will pitch for KC, while rookie Luke Weaver goes for the Redbirds.
