Authorities are investigating a fatal shooting in Shannon County. Witnesses say the shooting happened at a home on County road Y-625, near Birch Tree. According to eye witnesses, 39 year old John Clark went to the home where is used to live to pick up his belongings inside a shed. Clark allegedly got into a fight with the man living in the home over missing motorcycle parts. During the fight a pistol was pulled and John Clark was shot.. He was taken to a Springfield Hospital where he later died. The other man who is unidentified at this time was also shot and injured but is still alive. The Sheriff’s Department did not provide any details but said the investigation is ongoing. No arrests have been made at this point.
