A Marion County man has died after an accidental shooting Wednesday afternoon. 27 year old James Lee Deen died after he accidentally shot himself in the chest. The Sheriff’s Office reports that they received a 911 call around 3:45 Wednesday afternoon from Deen’s mother. She was driving at the time of the call on highway 62/412 just east of Flippin with her son in the vehicle. She was told to pull over and law enforcement and medical personnel met them and begin administering aid to Deen. Air Evac was called to the scene and airlifted him to Cox Hospital in Branson, but he died in route, The Shooting is still under investigation by the Marion County sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division and Arkansas State Police
