The MLB All-Star game turned into a second night of home-run derby as the American League beat the National League 8-6 in 10 innings at Nationals Park last night.  The 2 teams set a new record with 10 home-runs in the contest, shattering the old record of 6.  7 of those homers came in the 7th inning or later.  Jean Segura hit a 3 run shot in the 8th to put the AL in front, but Scooter Gennett tied it in the 9th with a  2 run bomb for the NL.  In the top of the 10th, Alex Bregman and George Springer hit back to back solo-shots to give the AL the win for the 6th consecutive year.
