Chiefs Lose To Texans In Pre-season Opener

The Kansas City Chiefs opened their pre-season last night at Arrowhead Stadium with a loss to the Houston Texans 17-10.  The Chiefs made it exciting in the finals minutes with a 22 play drive to try and tie the game, but they turned the ball over on downs at the 3 yard line.

Starting QB Patrick Mahomes was efficient in the first quarter with limited snaps, going 5 for 7 passing for just 33 yards.  The only TD of the game for KC was a 24 yard throw from back-up QB Chad Henne to Demarcus Robinson.

The Chiefs will play the Atlanta Falcons on the road next Friday (Aug. 17th).
