Local high school football teams will get their first “live” action of the season tonight as Jamboree’s will be around the area. The Thayer Bobcats, West Plains Zizzers, Liberty Eagles and Mountain Grover Panthers will all be at Zizzer Stadium in West Plains for a Jamboree beginning at 6p. (gates will open at 5). We talked with Zizzer head coach Steve Ary about his Zizzers head into tonights Jamboree
In the 1st pairing tonight at 6:00, Thayer will play Mountain Grove, with West Plains to play Liberty. Then they will rotate with Thayer playing West Plains and Liberty playing Mtn. Grove. Then rotate again with West Plains ending with Mtn. Grove and Thayer playing Liberty.
Each team will run 12 offensive plays in each set.
The regular season begins one week from today.
