A former Mountain Grove Junior ROTC Instructor will go to trial next month on several felony charges after allegedly having a sexual relationship with two students. 56 year old David Russell Long of Mountain Grove will be in court in Wright County on October 10th. Long is charged with three counts of sodomy, two counts of sexual contact with a student by a teacher, two counts of sexual misconduct, statutory sodomy, rape and misdemeanor counts of child molestation and sexual misconduct. He also faces charges of two counts of assault, two counts of unlawful use of a weapon, armed criminal action and endangering the welfare of a child.. The alleged incidents took place between August 2014 and May 2015.
