An Mountain Home man died Friday afternoon after a boating accident, according to the Baxter County Sheriff’s Office. 38 year old Adam Jones, fell off a pontoon boat on Lake Norfork around 4:16 p.m. Friday and was hit by the boat. The Baxter County Sheriff’s Office, responded to the scene and saw the pontoon boat circling in the water near the boat launch area. The woman operating the boat had also fallen overboard while trying to help Jones. People on another boat nearby provided help. Paramedics went by boat to the shoreline to Jones and the woman and then took Jones to the hospital.
