A Stone County Arkansas man has been arrested and charged in his wife’s murder, 54 year old Nathaniel Freeman is charged with first degree murder in the shooting death of his wife, Dora Freeman. Authorities report that they found Nathaniel Freeman lying on the kitchen floor with an apparent gunshot wound to the abdomen, and his wife Dora Freeman was laying next to him with a .22 caliber revolver in her hand. Dora Freeman was deceased and Nathaniel was flown to UAMS in Little Rock. He Told Authorities that Dora Freeman had shot him. After an investigation and autopsy it was determined that the shot that killed Dora Freeman was not fired at close range and that she could not have shot Nathaniel after being shot in the back of the head. Nathaniel Freeman was arrested and is being held on $1 million bond.
