A man from Birth Tree was injured in a one vehicle accident Friday afternoon in Shannon County. The highway patrol reports that 65 year old Rex Kelly suffered serious injuries when he drove off the road and hit an embankment. Kelly was taken to Ozarks Medical Center. The accident happened on highway Y, about 5 miles south of Birch Tree.
