Two Marion County officers were injured when a woman hit and kicked them. 30 year old Markie Leann Theime was arrested at a motel in Yelleville on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and misdemeanor unauthorized use of a vehicle, with bond set at $5,000. Then later when officers attempted to move Theime at the Detention Center she allegedly became agitated and started fighting with them. She now faces felony counts of aggravated assault on a corrections officer and felony impairing operation of a vital public facility. He bond was set at $20,000 on these charges. The two officers were treated for their injuries.
