5 People Were Injured In Four Crashes Thursday In Troop G

Troopers In Troop G of the Highway Patrol were busy with several accidents on Thursday.

Two Theodosia residents were injured, one of them seriously in an accident east of Theodosia Thursday afternoon. The Highway Patrol reports that 65 year old Lehman Wilburn suffered serious injuries and 73 year old Stanley Bushnell suffered minor injuries when Wilburn cross the center of the road and hit the vehicle that Bushnell was driving. Wilburn was taken to Cox South in Springfield and Bushnell was taken to Baxter Regional Medical Center. The accident happened on U.S 160 about a mile east of Theodosia.

A Pottersville teen was injured in an accident west of West Plains Thursday morning. 17 year old Kelsey Bohham suffered moderate injuries when she drove off the road and overturned the car she was driving. Bonham was taken to OMC in West Plains. The accident happened on K Highway, five miles west of West Plains.

Thursday morning a man from Graff Missouri was hurt in an accident east of Hartville in Wright County. 62 year old John Broos suffered moderate injuries when he drove off the road, down an embankment and hit the ground. Broos was taken to Mercy Hospital in Springfield. The accident happened around 7:30 Thursday morning on Missouri 38 about five miles east of Hartville.

A Waynesville woman was injured in an accident in Texas County around 7:30 Thursday morning. The Highway Patrol says that 24 year old Justice Jarvis suffered minor injuries when she failed to negotiate a curve, drove off the road and hit a tree. Jarvis was taken to Texas County Memorial Hospital. The accident happened on highway 17 about 4 miles north of Evening Shade Missouri
