The trial date has been set for a former Baxter County Deputy and school resource officer who was accused of sexual assault involving a 16 year old girl. 33 year old Matthew Guthrie will go to trial on March 16th. Guthrie was the school resource officer at Cotter School and faces 7 counts of sexual assault involving a student. Guthrie is free now on $100,000 bond.
