The West Plains Lady Zizzers defeated Springfield Parkview 48-35 last night to remain unbeaten in the Ozark Conference at 8-0 with one conference game left to play. Cass Cunningham led the way with 17, Ashton Judd scored 12 and Mackenzie Brunson had 10 as the Lady Zizzers pushed their season record to 24-1.
The Mammoth Spring Bears and Lady Bears were both playing in the semi-finals of the 1A 3 Dsitrict Tournament at Maynard last night. The Lady Bears got a big win 72-25 over Armorel, The Lady Bears had four players in double figures with Lauren Mitchell leading the way with 28 points, Chevelle Graves had 15, Tera Godwin 13 and Shelby Vanginhovan 12. The Mammoth Spring lady Bears play Hillcrest tonight at 6 pm in the Championship. The Bears battle the Hillcrest in the boys the semi-finals and come up short losing 45-37. The Bears were led by Cole Young with 10 points. The Mammoth Spring Bears will be back in action next week in the regional tournament.
The Thayer Bobcats and Lady Bobcats were at Willow Springs Last night for a pair of games. In thE lady Bobcats game Thayer beat the Willow Springs Lady Bears 57-46 but in the Boys game it was Willow Springs getting te win 51-48.
