Authorities in Ozark County are now saying the stabbing death of Robert Chistian Chambers of Gainesville last week was justifiable homicide. A Coroner’s inquest of 6 Ozark County Residents made the decision on Thursday. The coroner’s inquest jury is only taken as a consideration by the prosecutor. It is not a legally binding verdict. The prosecutor may still file charges.
Chambers died at a home near the Arkansas-Missouri state line, after he was reportedly stabbed in the chest with a “sword” during a fight..
The identity of the man who stabbed Chambers has not been released.
