Two people have been arrested in connection with a shooting near Salem. Robert Stigall and Misti Herndon were arrested after Herndon allegedly confirmed to authorities that Stigall had chased some people on Republican Road firing several shots. Officer conducted a home visit and found in plain view several drug related items. During a more extensive search they found numerous small plastic baggies, a set of digital scales and a loaded pistol. Stigall and Herndon were both charged with terroristic act, conveyance, two counts of aggravated assault, possession of a controlled substance with the purpose to deliver marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia with the purpose to analyze meth, felon in possession of a firearm, possession of drug paraphernalia with the purpose to ingest marijuana, maintaining a drug premises. Stigall was also charged as an habitual offender. Both were arrested and taken to the Fulton County Detention Center.
