The Fulton County Sheriff’s Department is investigating an alleged sexual assault involving the Tyronza Police Chief. 30 year old Tyronza Police Chief Edward Jay Roach was allegedly booked and was questioned on Sunday about the alleged sexual assault. Roach who is from Marked Tree was released Monday. The Fulton County Sheriff’s office says Roach was camping and floating Spring River with a group of friends. The investigation continues. Roach was appointed Police Chief in Tyronza on April 27, 2020
