A woman from Florida was injured in an accident in Douglas County. The Highway Patrol reports that 71 year old Mary Poole suffered moderate injuries when she drove off the road and down an embankment. Poole was flown to Cox South in Springfield. The accident happened on highway FF about 2 miles east of Ava.
