A man from Mountain View has been charged in connection with a shooting Saturday in Shannon County. 21 year old Daymond Reeves is charged with second degree murder and armed criminal action in the shooting death of Allan Brewer. The shooting was allegedly the result of road rage. According to the probable cause statement, Reeves and his wife were traveling on Rt E when they passed a slow moving truck, the truck then allegedly sped up and began following Reeves closely. Reeves then pulled over to allow the truck to pass and instead the truck pulled over behind Reeves. The two drivers then allegedly got into a verbal altercation. Reeves then allegedly shot Brewer several times then left the scene. On Sunday Reeves and his wife were both arrested and deputies obtained a search warrant on Reeves truck where they found spent shell casings on the floor board. Charges were filed by the prosecuting attorney on Monday.
