On January 3, 2021, Deputy Nelson worked a report were a van was stolen from Ava, MO. After numerous interviews Deputy Nelson arrested Kirsten Johnson, 17, of Ava, MO on January 7, 2021, and a warrant was obtained from the Prosecuting Attorney’s Office for Tampering with Motor Vehicle- 1st Degree a Class D Felony with a bond of $1500 Cash and carries the bond stipulation of no contact with victim.
