Two Batesville men have been arrested after a traffic stop in Izard County. A vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed was stopped in Melbourne. The Driver was 29-year-old Matthew Martin and his passenger was 29-year-old Miguel Gomez. Both men had active warrants and were allegedly acting nervous. A Search of the men and their vehicle found multiple pills, a crystalline substance that tested positive for meth, a glass smoking device and marijuana was found. The two men face multiple felony charges and were taken to the Izard County jail with bond set at $20,000 each. They will be in court January 20th.
