Two Batesville residents were killed and three were injured in a UTV accident on Kelley Road Saturday night. According to the Arkansas State police 30-year-old Samantha Townsend was traveling south on Kelley Road at a high rate of speed and lost control of the UTV in a curve, ran off the road and hit a tree. Townsend and 43-year-old Misty Vazquez were both killed, three other passengers, 23-year-old Harli Slater, 25-year-old Morgan Stephens and 34-year-old Terry Phillip were all injured and were taken to White River Medical Center. The accident happened around 10 p.m. Saturday Night.
