Fulton County Sheriff Reports One Of The Largest Substance Recovery In Northeast Arkansas History

The Fulton County Sheriff’s office reports the arrest of a man last Wednesday at the Dollar General parking lot in Viola. 32-year-old Michael Joseph Kelly was charged with possession of fentanyl with the purpose to deliver, possession of paraphernalia with the purpose to use heroin or fentanyl, fleeing, and resisting arrest. He is also charged as a habitual offender. His bond was set at $300,000. Kelly’s car had 138 bags of fentanyl/heroin in jewelry sized Ziploc bags. The Sheriff’s Office says this is one of the biggest substance recoveries in North East Arkansas history.
