The Arkansas State Highway Commission approved a bid to improve the highway 289 bridge over English Creek south of Mammoth Spring. The Old Historic bridge is being replaced by a Box Culvert. The Contract was awarded to West Plains Bridge and Grading LLC at a cost of $2.6 Million. The Completion was delayed because of the Pandemic last year. Work is now back on track and the bridge should be completed later this year.
