A Calico Rock man was in court in Baxter County and had his charges lowered from sexual assault to battery. 24-year-old Jacob Lathan allegedly accepted sexual favors from two girls ages 14 and 16 in exchange for him giving them ride so they could buy LSD. Lathan was originally charged with fourth degree sexual assault and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Lathan was given three years’ probation.
