On Friday, at approximately 6:57 AM, the West Plains Police Department received a report of a one vehicle motor vehicle crash on North US Highway 63 near James Gang Towing. Upon arrival, Officers observed a red Dodge passenger car resting in the driveway to James Gang Towing which had sustained major damage.
During a preliminary crash investigation, the vehicle had run off of the roadway, collided with a concrete culvert, and began overturning which caused the driver, identified as 33-year-old Todd Cason, to be ejected and was pronounced deceased on scene.
This matter is still under investigation. Anyone with any information or who may have been a witness to the crash is asked to contact the West Plains Police Department.
