A constable in Pocahontas is now charged with rape. 32-year-old Coby Ryan Poe was arrested earlier this year in connection with a sex case and now he has been charged with rape. When he was first arrested back in April, it was on suspicion of attempted rape and 3 counts of sexual assault. The charges were upgraded to rape, criminal attempt, transporting and distributing materials depicting a child, and three counts of second-degree sexual assault. Poe has been a constable in Randolph county since November.
