2 Alton Residents were taken to the hospital Friday after they struck a cow with the vehicle they were driving.
According to MSHP, 20-year-old Jacob Steagull and a 17-year-old minor were driving eastbound on Highway P, 7 miles east of Alton when the car struck a cow in the roadway.
Both the driver and the passenger had minor injuries at the scene.
They were taken by a private vehicle to Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains, MO.
