On Saturday, September 18, 2021, the Ozarka College Foundation hosted the annual Sprint at the Spring 5k at Mammoth Spring State Park. The 5k saw runners from age eight all the way to age sixty-six during the fundraiser held each September for Ozarka’s Mammoth Spring Campus.

This event is made possible each year by the generous donations from area sponsors such as presenting sponsor, FNBC; and NAEC, the local Chambers of Commerce, the Rotary Club, and E-Communications as well as many others. A big thank you also goes out to all the volunteers, participants, park staff, and the Mammoth Spring Police and Fire Departments.

“Our community has really gotten behind this event to help make it the great success it is today,” said James Spurlock, Mammoth Spring Campus Director. “We look forward to next year’s event with excitement as the community continues to support our students through this avenue.”
