Five people were arrested at residence near Bakersfield

Last week Ozark County authorities arrested five people at a residence near Bakersfield. Deputies went to the residence to arrest Katherine Brotherton who was arrested on a warrant for probation violation. Deputies found four other people who had outstanding warrants.

Charles “Levi” Barrett was arrested on an outstanding warrant from Howell County for Violation of a Full Order of Protection. Colby Crossley was located hiding in a well house and was arrested for two warrants from the West Plains Police Department for traffic offenses. After a search of the location with the assistance of K9 Officer Rye, Eric Vandiver and William Henson were found attempting to hide in weeds. Vandiver is wanted on a warrant out of Benton County, Arkansas for theft and drug charges. Henson has a felony warrant out from Howell County on drug-related charges. After a search of the residence, several items of methamphetamine paraphernalia, digital scales, and a substance believed to be methamphetamine were located. All five were taken to Ozark County jail.
