A man from Michigan suffered serious injuries in a motorcycle accident in Oregon County Wednesday morning. The Highway Patrol says that 69-year-old John Putt was hurt when he failed to negotiate a curve and ran off the road. He was flown to Cox Medical Center in Springfield. The accident happened seven miles south of Winona on Missouri 19.
An Alton teen was injured in an accident east of Alton Wednesday afternoon. 18-year-old Kyndra Bale suffered moderate injuries when she drove off the road and overturned the 1999 GMC Jimmy she was driving. Bale was taken to Ozarks Healthcare. The accident happened on county road 100 about a one-eighth mile east of Alton.
Three people were injured in a one-vehicle accident south of West Plains Wednesday morning. The Highway Patrol reports that 61-year-old Lester Louramore of Hoxie and 62-year-old Rickey Holder of Pocahontas both suffered moderate injuries and 44-year-old Carla Emery of Walnut Ridge suffered minor injuries when Holder drove off the side of the road and hit an embankment. All three were taken to Ozarks Healthcare. The accident happened around 4:20 Wednesday morning on Highway 63 about a half-mile west of West Plains.
A Calico Rock man was injured in an accident south of Mountain Home. 36-year-old Daniel Roberts was injured when he swerved to avoid an object in the roadway causing his vehicle to spin around and travel off the road and overturn. Roberts was taken to Baxter Regional Medical Center. The accident happened on Highway 5, south of Mountain Home
A woman from Birch Tree was injured in an accident south of Monteir Wednesday. The Highway Patrol reports that 21-year-old Lauren Gary suffered minor injuries when she drove off the road and overturned the truck she was driving. Gary was taken to Mercy St Francis Hospital in Mountain View. The accident happened on highway T, five miles south of Monteir.
