Two people were injured in an accident east of Ellsinore on Tuesday afternoon. The Highway Patrol reports that 36-year-old Amanda Bresnahan of Ellsinore suffered serious injuries and 51-year-old Lisa Dierker of Williamsville suffered moderate injuries when Dierker swerved to avoid a deer, drove off the road and overturned the vehicle she was driving. Bresnahan was flown to St Louis University Hospital and Dierker was taken to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. The accident happened on Rt A, two miles east of Ellsinore.
Two People were injured in an accident in Van Buren on Tuesday. The MSHP reports that 25-year-old Pau Hon Khai of Tennessee suffered moderate injuries and 52-year-old Jeffery Hensen of Williamsville suffered minor injuries when Hensen pulled into the path of the vehicle that Khai was driving. The accident happened on U.S. 60 east of Business 60 in Van Buren.
