According to Izard County Sheriff Charley Melton, on Wednesday afternoon at approximately 1:45 p.m., Izard County dispatch received a call of a vehicle accident on State Highway 69 near the intersection of Old Hwy 69 and State Highway 58 just South of Melbourne. The driver of the vehicle, who is a juvenile, was involved in an incident close by the accident scene. No other information will be released at this time.
