Arkansas State University-Mountain Home (ASUMH) has received Initial Approval from the Arkansas State Board of Nursing to offer the Associate of Applied Science Degree in Registered Nursing. On January 5, 2023, the Board voted to grant Initial Approval to ASUMH, which allows the college to recruit and enroll students in a traditional Registered Nursing program.
The demand for RN’s in the local community, as well as state- and nation-wide, has been the impetus for ASUMH to grow its nursing program. ASUMH currently provides an LPN/Paramedic to RN Program (AAS) and a Practical Nursing Program (TC) for students on its campus.
