Thousands of people across Southern Missouri and Northern Arkansas are still without power after heavy snow overnight Tuesday. At the height of the outages Entergy reported more than 36,000 members without power, North Arkansas Electric reported around 28,000  and Howell Oregon Electric Cooperative reported around 14,000. Thousands have had power restored but there are still a lot of members without power. Crews have been working around the clock to try to get all the power restored as quickly and safely as possible. The electric companies remind citizens that if they see a downed power line not make contact with it, and notify the Electric company. Highway 63 at Black Rock was blocked last night after a power line fell.
