Arkansas wins, Missouri and MSU-West Plains both lost in College Basketball Friday

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark.  — Khalif Battle had 21 points off the bench and No. 14 Arkansas used a pair of big runs in the middle of the game to beat Gardner-Webb 86-68 on Friday night.

Tramon Mark added 14 points and El Ellis scored 13 for the Razorbacks. Trevon Brazile had 10 points and a team-high seven rebounds.

Arkansas hosts Old Dominion on Monday.

 

COLUMBIA, Mo.  — Jahvon Quinerly scored 18 points, David Jones had a double-double, and Memphis dominated the second half in a 70-55 victory over Missouri on Friday night.

Sean East II led Missouri with 14 points. He played 38 minutes in the game but did not attempt a shot in the second half. Noah Carter added 10 points.

Missouri hosts Southern Illinois-Edwardsville on Monday

 

Ottumwa Iowa—The Missouri State West Plains Grizzlies drop to 2-2 on the season losing to Indian Hills Community College on Friday, 88-75. The Grizzlies were led by Former Thayer Bobcat, Gaige Pitts and by Lucas Prolla with 12 points each.

The Grizzlies play Triton College this afternoon at 3 pm
