Two Mountain Home residents have made a donation to the Baxter County Sheriff’s Foundation, Inc. to allow for the purchase of two new body armor vests for Sheriff’s Deputies.
Carl F. Edwards and Sharon Stevens-Edwards, in a show of support for law enforcement and for the safety of Sheriff’s Office deputies, each recently donated $1,000 to the Sheriff’s Foundation. These donations will be used to outfit two deputies with new vests. It is recommended that body armor vests be replaced every five years.
