WP Middle School Principal Dr. Wesley Davis was named the new director of human resources and student service during the March meeting of the WP R-7 School Board held Tuesday night. Assistant Superintendent Dr. Scott Smith has resigned from R-7 District to become superintendent of Gasconade County R-1 School District beginning the first of July. The decision was made by the board to combine responsibilities and redistribute the duties of Dr. Smith position and place Dr. Wesley Davis in that role.
