Melody Hubbell Named Director of Marketing at OMC

Melody Hubbell was recently named Director of Marketing at Ozarks Medical Center (OMC) and will begin duties April 30. Hubbell will be responsible for the planning, development and implementation of OMC’s internal and external marketing strategies, communications, and public relations activities. “We are growing Ozarks Medical Center’s footprint and our brand,” said Tom Keller, President and CEO of OMC. “We are eager to welcome Melody to our team to help with that growth.” A native of Howell County, Hubbell began her career as a Public Relations Specialist at The Communications Group, Inc., in Little Rock. The Communications Group, Inc. is a full service advertising, marketing and public relations agency. Hubbell worked with clients and programs including Healthy Families, ARKids First, Delta Regional Authority and BreastCare. Her focus was on community engagement, awareness, media relations and branding. In 2013, Hubbell returned to West Plains when she took a position in the Development Office at Missouri State University-West Plains. Her role encompassed supervising campaigns like the campus’ Annual Fund and the Grizzly Booster Club. She also managed volunteers and coordinated events. In addition, Hubbell coordinated social and digital media for alumni relations, wrote content for newsletters and publications, and designed invitations and flyers for various events. Hubbell holds a Master of Science in Community and Economic Development from the University of Central Arkansas in Conway. She also has a Bachelor of Science in Journalism with an emphasis in Public Relations and a minor in Graphic Design from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro. Hubbell is a board member of the West Plains Downtown Revitalization Board. She also has been a member of the Public Relations Society of America since 2005. She and her husband, Marc, have a son, Charlie, and a daughter, Lucy.
