Congressman Jason Smith stopped at the Thomasville Community Center Tuesday to donate books from the Library of Congress. Smith stated that he asked the library to set aside books specifically to help replace what the Thomasville Library lost in the 2017 Flood that happened almost a year ago.
“Books are a window to the world,” Congressman Smith stated. He said that he always requests for extras to be sent home to Missouri.
