A warrant has been issued for a Willow Springs man accused of trying to hit another man with a vehicle. 45 year old Robert Lee Simon is charged with felony 2nd degree assault. According to reports Simon went to the home to collect property because he and his girlfriend recently broke up. his ex-girlfriend’s dad then showed up to talk to him and Simon drove through a fence nearly hitting the man. No one was injured in the incident. Simon was also charged with felony stealing $750 or more.
