The Kansas City Royals hooked up in a pitchers duel with the Reds at Kauffman last night. When it was all said and done, the Reds win it 5-1 in 10 innings. Reliever Kevin McCarthy game up 4 in the top of the 10th, as the Royals wasted a great pitching performance by Ian Kennedy (8 innings, 3 hits and 1 run). The Royals and Reds play again tonight at Kauffman.
