Carlos Martinez was hammered for 7 runs in just 4 innings work and the Redbirds committed 4 errors in a sloppy game, that ended with Infielder Greg Garcia pitching the 8th inning for the Cards. Matt Carpenter homered the lead off the game for the only Cardinal highlight. The Birds and Brewers play again tonight with Jack Flaherty on the hill.
