Carlos Martinez was tagged for 6 runs in 5 innings on the mound and shabby defense, (3 errors) didn’t help the Redbirds cause. Yadier Molina had a career high 4 hit game, Matt Carpenter and Tommy Pham each hit homers for the Cards. The Cardinals and Cubs play again this afternoon at Wrigly.
