The Name of a suspect in the shooting in Independence county has been released. According to a post on the Independence County Sheriff’s Department Facebook page, David Basinger has been charged in the shooting, but it did not say what the charges are. Deputies were called to a home in Sulphur Rock early Saturday morning for a gunshot report. The Victim who’s name has not been released was taken to White River Medical Center for treatment of his injuries. No further details have been released.
